MONTREAL STATION HOT DOGS

Went here today for the first time, out of convenience. I chose the construction breakfast which was very good, with crispy potatoes and creton (yum!). There was only one server working, an excellent server named Jennifer. I watched this woman handle all of the tables (6+), delivered orders in good time and was very friendly. She even noticed we found where we were seated was chill and offered to relocate us, without us even asking! I asked her name, and told her she is very good at what she does. The place is clean, roomy, and the service can't be beat! I definitely recommend stopping in for a bite if you're in the neighborhood!

Hands down the best poutine in the west island!!! The chicken nuggets were kinda dry but it came with fries. But let’s talk about the poutine- its is one of the best I’ve ever had: Fries were sweet and juicy, cheese was nicely melted into the hot gravy, which wasn’t too salty. Poutine was quite expensive compared to other places but definitely worth it. Overall 11/10!!

Staff was rude and unfriendly. Fries were full of oils. Saw the lady take the rack of fries in fryer and dump it in the side without giving it 3-4 tap to remove the oil. It was better in the past but getting worst over time.... **Went back there after 2 years. Food got better, staff more friendly, enjoying the work and the love for food.

I just wanted fries. Walking back out of parc de l'Ile-Bizard ... I wanted fries. Ordered just as a fresh batch went into the fryer! Just excellent good old fashioned patate frites. ?? Looking up at the menu board, hmm, ? I think I'll have to come back and try couple of things.?

The servers are very warm and friendly. The food is affordable and not bad like any breakfast place. Crepe is not that good, it was hard to chew on. But it is totally fine, I will be coming back here. I am not from a food industry. I am just writing what I saw. I noticed though that they are very particular to the seating set up. I saw a customer who just arrived and went up to a table and by the time he got comfortably seated, the waitress politely asked him to transfer to a smaller table to cater for a larger group (the table was not reserved btw). The first customer was understanding enough to follow which is good. However, same situation happened twice but this time not obliging thereby two separate individuals left the premise. That could have been two transactions for that time being. The idea was good but the table was not reserved to begin with and if they (restaurant) wanted to be particular about seating arrangement then by the time a customer would arrive, they could have escorted them to the table they are liking. To which those two who left would have had a good Saturday morning.
